My name is camille.
I ask a lot of questions.
As I said in my last post, it has been quite a L O N G time since I've been around!
But with that time has come new experiences, new experimentation with my health, and MANY new and exciting discoveries that I'm excited to share with you all!!
When I last left you, I was still promoting whole foods of course. We looked at walnuts and onions, as well as other powerful antioxidant-rich foods. We researched the harmful effects of aspartame, and whether microwaves are really "that bad". All good topics!
However, it's crazy to think that I still had posts about honey and *gasp* coffee! Though I condemn NO foods on here, and let me repeat NO foods, I have found in the last few years multiple new ways to discover what works for YOUR body. And *sadly* I have found sugar and coffee to be two MAJOR triggers to my own health problems :(
These pictures are an ode to my coffee addiction. I'm not going to say that some days I don't miss it. I'm not going to say that I don't still have a #treatyoself Venti Americano with heavy cream every once in awhile ;) But I CAN say that I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER now that I don't include coffee in my daily routine.
So. Goodbye, coffee. But hello to new habits and better health!
I could go on forever about the new TEA habits I've developed, but that would take another post. I also will explore why coffee affected me so negatively over the years (and why it doesn't seem to affect others in the same way..? ) So these will be showing up very soon. Just you wait :)
Well, hello again. It's been some time!
Thank you for being patient! I've needed (the last 2 years?) to get my life together before coming back to this medium. Updates: YES I've become a teacher! If you're following my Instagram (@curiouscamille), you've known this for a bit : )
SO yes, it's true. I am officially a teacher now!
Sorry, there were no warnings. And yes, this is a full 180 degree turn from where I (thought) I was previously headed (the medical field). And yet no, it's probably not too much of a surprise for anyone who reads my posts.
So, there it is. Since we've last spoken (and it's been awhile), I've officially transitioned into a high school biology and middle school life science teaching position.
While completely unexpected, it has been a dream! Completely out of the blue, but a huge, ENORMOUS blessing. Not to get too sentimental, but I feel I have finally found my calling *sniff* SO grateful.
Anyways, I tell you this only to (attempt to) apologize for my LONG hiatus from posting. I wanted to console you in knowing I always have you in the back of my mind, and I have spent the long while making notes of all the ideas I have been learning about and want to bring to you guys! More coming soon! xx
